Understanding Slot RTP and Volatility
RTP (Return to Player) is the average percentage of wagered money expected to be returned to players over the long term — typically around 94–97% for licensed slots. This is calculated over millions of spins, not a single session. In a short session, individual results can differ greatly from the RTP value.
Progressive Jackpot
A progressive jackpot grows each time a player places a bet — a small portion of every bet is added to the prize pool. It keeps increasing until one player triggers the winning condition. This type of jackpot can reach very large amounts before it is won.
⚠️ Responsible gambling means setting a spending limit before you play and stopping once that limit is reached.
Three Levels of Slot Volatility
Low Volatility
Smaller wins occur more frequently. Suited to players who want to extend their playtime with a smaller balance. The risk of losing money quickly is low, but big wins are rare.
Medium Volatility
A mix of more frequent small-to-medium wins alongside occasional bigger wins. A popular choice for players who want a balance between entertainment and return potential.
High Volatility
Wins are infrequent but can be very large. Requires a sufficient balance to get through periods without a win. Suited to players who are prepared to take on higher risk.
How to Choose the Right Slot
- Set your playing budget first — never bet more than you can afford to lose
- Choose low volatility if your goal is longer playtime
- Look for high-volatility slots if you want to chase big wins and are comfortable with the risk
- Read the game description to understand bonus features such as free spins and special symbols
918kisd VIP Loyalty Programme
Every game brings you closer to a higher VIP tier. The more active you are, the more weekly cashback you receive.
Bronze
The starting tier for all new members. Enjoy your first weekly cashback as soon as you meet the basic activity requirement for that week.
Silver
Move up to Silver as your gaming activity increases consistently. Cashback is double that of Bronze, credited every week.
Gold
Gold players receive preferential treatment and higher cashback. This tier reflects your loyalty to the 918kisd platform.
Platinum
The elite tier for the most active players. Platinum members enjoy the highest weekly cashback and priority in all dealings with the support team.
Cashback is calculated based on your net betting activity each week and credited directly to your 918kisd account. VIP tier upgrades happen automatically when you meet the set activity criteria — no manual application needed.
Types of Jackpots at 918kisd
The 918kisd platform features various jackpot games whose prize pools keep growing until they are won.
Slot Progressive Jackpot
The prize pool grows with every bet placed across the player network. These jackpots can reach very large amounts before being triggered by a special symbol combination or bonus spin.
Fish Shooting Game Jackpot
Shoot special high-value fish to win a jackpot built up from other players' bet contributions. The bigger the fish you target, the higher the prize you can win.
Live Casino Side Jackpot
Side bets in live dealer games such as baccarat let players place a small wager for a chance to win a separate jackpot, independent of the main hand result.
Instant Game Jackpot
Certain crash games and instant games have internal jackpots that can be triggered randomly on any round, giving active players an unexpected win.
Understanding Bonus Terms in Plain Language
Before claiming any bonus, get familiar with these key terms so you know what to expect.
Wagering / Rollover
A requirement for you to bet a certain amount before bonus funds can be withdrawn. For example, a 20x wagering requirement means you need to bet the bonus amount 20 times. The money you deposited can generally be withdrawn at any time.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
Most bonuses set a maximum bet per spin or hand while you are meeting the wagering requirement. Exceeding this limit may result in the bonus being voided — check the T&C before you play.
Game Contribution
Not all games contribute 100% towards the wagering requirement. Slots typically contribute in full, while table games such as blackjack or baccarat may only count for a fraction.
Bonus Expiry Period
Bonuses generally need to be used and wagering requirements completed within a set period after they are credited. Any bonus not used within this period will be automatically forfeited.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus cannot be withdrawn — only winnings from it can be cashed out. A non-sticky bonus can be withdrawn together with your original balance once the conditions are met.
Bonus Winnings Withdrawal Cap
Some bonuses set a maximum amount that can be withdrawn from bonus winnings, even after the wagering requirement is met. Check this limit before planning your gameplay.
Wagering Calculation Example
Say you deposit RM100 and receive a 120% welcome bonus.
- Total bonus received: RM120
- Your account balance: RM220
- 20x wagering requirement calculated on the bonus: RM120 × 20 = RM2,400
- You need to wager RM2,400 before bonus winnings can be withdrawn
Important Notice
Always read the Terms & Conditions in full before claiming any bonus. Understanding the wagering requirements, bet limits, and expiry periods will help you make more informed betting decisions. Visit our Terms & Conditions page for full details.
How to Read Betting Odds Formats
Sportsbooks display odds in various formats depending on the market. Understanding each format helps you calculate potential returns accurately before placing a bet.
Malay Format (Positive / Negative)
Positive odds (e.g. +0.85) mean you win a multiple of your stake. Negative odds (e.g. -1.18) mean you need to bet more to win a fixed amount.
Win → receive RM10 × 0.85 = RM8.50 profit + RM10 stake returned.
Hong Kong Format
Similar to positive Malay odds but always expressed as a positive number. You multiply the odds by your stake to find your net profit if you win.
Win → profit RM10 × 0.90 = RM9.00 + RM10 stake returned.
Indonesian Format
Positive odds (e.g. +1.75) — you bet RM1 to win RM1.75. Negative odds (e.g. -1.40) — you need to bet RM1.40 to win RM1.00 net profit.
Win → profit RM10 × 1.75 = RM17.50 + RM10 stake returned.
Decimal Format (European)
The simplest to calculate — just multiply the odds by your stake to get the total return (including your stake). Odds below 2.00 indicate the favoured side.
Win → total return RM10 × 2.10 = RM21.00 (profit RM11.00).
All examples above are for illustration only. Bet within your financial means and do not chase losses.
